This is not exactly my forte... I would have to say that if you sleep with an animal you will always get an STD, always.

But as far as eating an animal (or being eaten by) that has been infected with an STD... I would have to give that a nod to the no-side. Mind you, it is possible- lots of food carries disease and animal bites can transfer rabies. I think as long as the food is cooked well there is nothing to worry about- I mean, look at people in Africa... they got AIDs from live monkeys, not dead cooked ones.

In most cases it would be unlikely as the illnesses that play host to different animals are more likely to infect a similar animal and not s dis similar one. however diseases can mutate as has been demonstrated recently with bird flue and aids so it is definitely risky behaviour.
There has been some speculation that most STD's have come from people who have become too "friendly" with animals.
no way Jose
None, it's totally socially acceptable to do beastiality, but make sure to use a condom.
Yes they can and it's possible to catch other dangerous diseases by having sex with animals.

Humans can catch some sexually transmitted diseases from animals such as B. canis by contact with body fluids of infected dogs, especially semen, urine and vaginal fluids.
