Completely depends on the couple. If you have been trying for over a year without success, see a doctor. But for most people it can take at least 3 months if the woman had been using hormonal Birth Control for a significant amount of time. There are lots of exceptions and those that get pregnant even while on birth control or after only missing a pill or two.
