Well that might be due to the fact that not all people have allergies. Therefore they aren't affected by allergens like others. For instance i am affected my many allergens, whereas my elder sister is not affected by allergens at all. As you see i used the word 'allergens' several times. Most of the time the word 'allergens' just doesn't come up in a majority of conversations.
There are eight major food allergens recognized in the United States, which account for approximately 90% of allergic reactions to food. These allergens are milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat. In some regions, sesame is also considered a major allergen, expanding the list. It's important for individuals with food allergies to be aware of these allergens to avoid serious health risks.
Cat allergens, primarily from their saliva, skin, and urine, can remain in the environment for a long time, but they don't "stay" in your blood. When exposed to cat allergens, some individuals may experience allergic reactions, and those allergens can trigger symptoms for hours to days, depending on sensitivity and exposure. The immune response to allergens can persist as long as the allergens are present, but the actual allergens do not circulate in the bloodstream.

A baby blanket can protect a baby from allergens by providing a barrier between the infant and potential irritants in the environment, such as dust mites, pet dander, and pollen. Many baby blankets are made from hypoallergenic materials that resist the accumulation of these allergens. Additionally, using a washable blanket allows for regular cleaning to remove any allergens that may settle on the fabric, helping to maintain a healthier sleeping environment.
The eight most common food allergens should appear on the label. There is some concern that there are many other allergens that should appear as well, however at this time there is no requirement for them.

The EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation covers 14 categories of allergens. These include common allergens such as nuts, gluten, milk, eggs, and shellfish, among others.
