Yes that's actually very normal specially around days 14 and up of the cycle. You get your period DAY 1, then 14 days later (approximately) when you're ovulating it's very possible to get cramps specially in the back. some knee pain may occur.
Sometimes during ovulation, (the phase that is in between each period) your hormones can run high and you may experience symptoms similar to that of your period, such as cramps and irritability.
If you had the symptoms but skipped the actual bleeding part of your period, you might just be running very late, or could have missed it altogether. If that's the case and it keeps happening you should talk to a doctor.
The beginning of pregnancy has exactly the same symptoms as a period, so an appointment with your doctor may be needed. However, this is not the only answer. There may also be a delay in the period, due to stress or other health factors.
Expericencing the symptoms of a period, such as cramps, bloating, irritability, etc. without the body actually following through with an actual menstrual cycle could indicate a few things. "Missing" periods have several different causes - age, homone levels, stress, malnutrition, menopause, eating disorders, medication, or it could be an early sign of pregnancy. Some diseases and illnesses can also cause irregular menstrual cycles, such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), ovarian cysts, Premature Ovarian Failure (POF), ectopic pregnancy, etc. There have also been cases, rarely, of women born without a vaginal tract who experience the symptoms of their menstrual cycles but have no actual cycle as it has no tract in which to travel in.
Most irregular menstrual cycles usually work themselves out, or are treated with the contraceptive pill by GPs.
Do not rely on internet research to diagnose medical issues, always check with a doctor before coming to any conclusions.
ur probably going to get it soon. or may be pregnant XD
If you have period symptoms but no period it could mean you are close to starting or you can just have a tummy ache or some times it could mean you have appendicitis
this may be because you are going to get your period soon =]
Period symptoms are very similar to the symptoms of pregnancy. Hopefully that would be a good thing. I would definitely take a hpt (home pregnancy test) otherwise, see your Dr. Good luck! :)
You might be pregnant. Do a test
