That being said, it is only a disability if you allow it to become one or if it inviolved an extreme trauma. There are lots of medications that can help, tho most psychotherapy is not very usefu-it is usually CBT therapy which most often does not help with anxiety disorders, nor does a freudian approach help...you are better off ording some good books about it and seeing a psychiatrist for medications.

Anxiety like diabeties can be very well managed and you can live a fairly normal and fuctional life in spite of it. :)
