i had the doc out twice yesterday first doc said it was gastritis and the other said it was a virus attacking my muscles, i cant stand up straight cant lie on my sides haven't slept for 2 days and cant relax as my muscles hurt so much, iv got a sore stomach, bloated belly aching back sides rib cage and feel like i have no energy, co-codamol and ibuprofen haven't took the pain away, doc said it would last 2 to 3 days.

Popping a cold sore is not a good idea .The herpes virus could be in the fluid that comes out.The areas the fluids splash on could have a cold sore there.Dont pop it unless you have to.If you want it to go away,abreva is a good product.

Its not suggested by doctors to swim with any kind of open sore. Coat it with vaseline if you have to, but swimming with a cold sore in a public pool is considered horribly rude and inconsiderate. You might be asked to leave.

my daughter has the same thing. Her Ped told me that the fever will last about 6 days maybe a little longer.
If the blisters are inside the mouth, I understand that it is a canker sore and not a fever blister, or cold sore. The latter two are from the herpes simplex 1 virus and I understand canker sores are not a virus at all. Good luck with finding your answer and I hope I was of some assistance!
