These muscles are in the calf in the anterior of the lower leg. Use the link to see a diagram and learn more.
Flesh usually refers to muscle so the main muscles that make up your calf are the gastrocnemius and the soleus muscles.
gastrocnemius and soleus muscles muscles are collectively referred to as triceps surae
Pointing your toes primarily involves the muscles in the back of the lower leg, such as the calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) and the muscles along the top of the foot (dorsiflexors). These muscles work together to extend and flex the ankle, allowing you to point your toes.
There are two. The gastrocnemius muscle. This muscle is important in plantar flexion, allowing you to lift your heel when walking, running and jumping. Underneath it lies the soleus muscle, which, in addition to plantar flexion, continually adjusts your posture when standing and moving.
The flexor would be the hamstring, and gastrocnemius, which bend/flex the knee. The quadriceps, are extensors, which straighten/extend the knee.

One. The biceps brachii is a muscle, not a muscle group
Okay, so a group of cells make a tissue. A group of tissues make a organ. A group of organs make an organ system. A group of organ systems make an organism. That's the easiest way to put it. I know what you're thinking, "But I said "muscle tissues"!". Well, it's all the same thing. Tissues are tissues, and whether it's a muscle tissue or a... I really don't know tissue, it's considered a tissue, so to make it long story short, a group of cells make a tissue. Your welcome.
The latissimus dorsi muscle group may make it difficult to palpate the twelfth rib near the spine. This large muscle group overlies the lower ribs dorsally.
Muscle cells grouped together are called muscle tissue. The muscle cells contract and elongate to make the movement in the body parts. Wrong. For one, your quad muscles are your rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus intermedias and vastus lateralis. Biceps femoris and semimembranosis are part of your hamstring msucles. Secondly, calf muscles include the gastrocnemius and the soleus, while the tibialis anterior is part of the front compartment of the lower leg, not the calf. And to make everyting straigght, all major muscle groups are worked out during a skipping exercise. Abdominals to stabiliase your body, legs for the jumping, biceps and lats and traps for the propelling of the rope. Hope that helps
No, gaining muscle does not make you shorter.
