My experience with both my kids were odd. With my oldest child, i took 6 home tests and all were negative. i went to the doctor twice over the course of two weeks thinking i had a UTI. I had severe lower Back pain, hadnt started my period, and really odd fluttering feelings in my tummy. after the second trip to the doctor i was given a blood test and urine test and guess what, i was 6 weeks pregnant. my second child it took 5 home tests to get a positive result. I still had spotting and didnt really feel pregnant other than fluttering in my belly. turns out after i took the last test and went to the doctor to confirm i was 9 weeks pregnant. each person is different. especially if its your first, there arent always tell-tale signs.go back to your doctor in a week or so if you still havent started a regular period and ask for a blood test.
If you have a negative pregnancy test, you are probably not pregnant. What makes you think it's not your period? (ie. did you have a pos pregnancy test earlier?)
No. Spotting can occur during pregnancy.
The only way to know is by taking a pregnancy test.
Sometimes women have implantation spotting that they confuse with their period. You should take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant.
Spotting is very common during the course of pregnancy and the combined symptoms of spotting then a missed period certainly could indicate pregnancy. However it is very common for women who are not pregnant to have a missed period or spotting. I suggest a pregnancy test which are readily available at almost any store and to consult your doctor.
Take a pregnancy test
You could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test
Spotting usually happens when a woman was pregnant, and lost the baby/had a miscarriage early in the pregnancy.
You are unlikely to be pregnant on the implant. Signs of pregnancy are absent bleeding and positive pregnancy test.
Not all women spot. Some women will have spotting with 1 pregnancy and none with the next. If you think you are pregnant, see your doctor or get a test.
Only about 30% of women have implantation spotting. It is not necessary for a healthy normal pregnancy.
Spotting can possibly be a symptom of pregnancy.
