The answer to this question deeply depends on how fast the swimmer wants to swim, how deep the swimmer is prepared to go, and generally what the swimmer is capable of.

Through personal experience, I have found that the butterfly stroke produces a quicker heart rate than other strokes. This stroke is performed by "mermaid" kicking underwater until one needs to breath, and then the swimmer moves his arms quickly to "jump" out of the water and breath, then quickly moves his arms back up to dive.

It is a difficult stroke, but is effective.

The next most effective stroke, in my opinion, is the breath stroke. This stroke is performed by alternately moving the arms in an almost circular motion while kicking one's feet, and breathing through one's armpit when air is needed.

I hope this helped! :)

Cardiac output = heart rate X stroke volume Thus, if the heart rate decreases so will the cardiac output, assuming the stroke volume is constant.

What are the two factors of cardiac output?

The stroke volume and the heart rate. The stroke volume is the volume of your blood and heart rate is how many beats there are per minute.

Cardiac output is determined by?

Cardiac output is determined by the heart rate and stroke volume. The heart rate is the number of heartbeats per minute, while stroke volume is the amount of blood ejected from the heart with each beat. Cardiac output is calculated by multiplying heart rate by stroke volume.

How is cardiac output calculated?

Cardiac output is calculated by multiplying the heart rate (number of heartbeats per minute) by the stroke volume (amount of blood ejected by the heart with each beat). The formula is: Cardiac output = Heart rate x Stroke volume.

What is cardic output?

Cardiac out put is the volume of blood pumped by the heart per minute. Cardiac output is a function of heart rate and stroke volume. The heart rate is simply the number of heart beats per minute. The stroke volume is the volume of blood, in milliliters pumped out of the heart with each beat. Increasing either heart rate or stroke volume increases cardiac output.
