When to play basketball after tonsillectomy?

I played soccer 11 days after my tonsillectomy, im 18 if that helps at all. My doctor told me absolutely no sports for 14 days, and when i asked if 11 days was ok, he had told me that he had to do a blood transfusion because another girl's had bursted open.

I played anyway, i think it all depends on how your feeling. I felt absolutely fine, but i would use your own personal judgement.
