It may drown the live lice if you leave a lot of it in the hair overnight (which I DO NOT recommend that you do) but even that is not guaranteed to work. It wont even kill the eggs or nits. Don't waste your time and energy with home remedies that you find on the internet, I have been there and one that only to find that they do not work.

It is an all natural lice treatment that kills the live lice instantly and makes it easier to comb out the nits or eggs by breaking down the glue that they use to stick to the hair shaft.
