ibuprofen and Aspirin do have blood thinning qualities but u have to watch it and do not mix those together or your blood may get too thin and wont be able to circulate as well and if u get a cut could led to excessive bleeding.

Ex: went to a doctor for severe Back pain and he gave me a 800mg. Ibuprofen and said to make sure not to take anything with aspirin in it while taking this or your blood could get too thin. <--this is a real story i did now make this up

Can you take ibuprohen with coumadin?

Get the answer from your doctor. For Coumadin and warfarin are blood thinners. Its use requires regular blood draws, for regular checking and possible adjusting of dosage. An incorrect dosage can encourage bleeding if the blood's too thin, or clotting if the blood's too thick. The person on blood thinners must be careful about using other medicines. Use of other medicines must always be approved by your doctor. Ibuprofen can encourage bleeding. That particularly isn't a good situation if the Coumadin dosage is incorrect, and the blood's running too thin.

Long-term aspirin use by an elderly person could increase the need for what nutrient?

Long-term aspirin use in elderly individuals can increase the need for vitamin K. This is because aspirin can interfere with the absorption and utilization of vitamin K, which is essential for blood clotting and bone health. Additionally, the potential for gastrointestinal bleeding associated with aspirin use may further necessitate adequate vitamin K levels to support healing and maintain proper blood coagulation.

Yes you can. Low dose aspirin (82mg) is a sub-therapeutic dose concerning pain and is only effective as a "blood thinner"to prevent blood clots. It is too low of a dose to be of danger to use with oral prednisone.

Not really, but blood thinners can, i wouldn't recommend this method though. Just use tampons and reliable pads, and you should be ok.
