Yes, it is possible to overdose on ibuprofen. Be sure to read the bottle dosage information or look up on the internet what certain doses for certain ages are and their limits.

you probably shouldn't take more than 3 I've took 5 more than 8 is probably bad! Don't try it either.

I've taken up to 10 and I'm so used to it it doesn't make anything worse... it just gets rid of my Sciatica... and doctors will not give you opiates to kill the pain unless they refer you to a pain management... but I would not recomend a person that is not used to Ibuprofen to take more than 6...

I have always been told that you can use Tylenol and ibuprofen in an overlapping manner, but not neccessarily together. Meaning if Tylenol is every4-6 hours and ibuprofen is every 4-6 hours then you could take one dose of Tylenol and then one dose of ibuprofen every 2-3 hours. I wouldn't do this unless there is a lot of pain or fever. Good luck!

You can get internal bleeding & all sorts of stomach problems. The bottle (or the box) should tell you that it is an NSAID & what kinds of health problems ibruprofen & other NSAID's may lead to if you take too many.

Yes, you can overdose, although it takes a fairly high amount. Anything over 1,000mg at once is a potentially dangerous dose. Same goes for anything with Acetaminophen in it (Tylenol, Advil, Motrin...) Don't mess around with these drugs, take them how as they are directed. If you're trying to get high off of any over the counter painkiller, don't. All that it will do is tear your liver apart and leave you feeling like junk.
