There hasn't been a direct link to death and steroid use as far as I know, the problem could occur where the user takes large doses of steroids for long periods of time especially the inclusion of oral steroids such as anapolon. In this case liver damage could occur and possibly result in death. Body builders have died in the past as a result of the harsh regime of competing and dieting, and finally within the last few days have then taken diuretics (may be spelt wrong) this has then drained the last drop of liquid from under the skin for that ripped look but left the body totally dehydrated causing death.
I have known 2 bodybuilders that have died however they were taking cocaine, and clenbuterol and also effedrine....god knows why, this mixture sends the heart into race mode and it just cant take it. One of them on post mortem had a heart 2 and a half times the size of a normal one.
My advice, keep your steroid dosages low, try and avoid oral all together as this goes straight to the liver (first pass) keep your courses short max 8 to 10 weeks, have approx 3 to 4 months off between courses or longer if possible. Do not take cocaine as the crap that's in it could kill you anyway. If your going to use clenbuterol keep the dose down to max 3 to 4 a day and only use for 4 weeks, don't do effedrine and clen at the same time. Dont drink whilst on your course if you do keep it loww to moderate and space out as this all has to be de-toxified by the liver.
Lastly if your not a competitive body builder stay away from diuretics as these are dangerous if not supervised.

Guererro died on the toilet because his veins got clogged up from all the crap that was in the steroids he had taken and Benoit died because he took too many steroids and went mad and killed his wife and son because of it then when he became normal again he realised what he had done and hung himself. Even though lots of wrestlers probably take steroids that doesnt make wrestling bad i will still love wrestling no matter what
