It's not unusual to have unscheduled bleeding in the first three months of use of the Birth Control patch. After that, bleeding with the patch on is unusual, but doesn't mean that the patch isn't working as long as you've been using it correctly. If this bleeding recurs, see your health care provider for an exam.
After you have atleast one normal period.
Yes. This is caused by coming off the patch. Its a withdrawal bleed.
Yes. The patch was moderating your hormones, and removing the patch disrupted the hormone levels. One possible response of your body was a period. The other possible response was ovulation (dropping an egg - becoming fertile).
Yes it will work and yes it will stop your period from coming.I've done it many times. When you do decide to take it off you will have your period as if you would normally taking it off every 4th week.I've done it stopping my period up to 2 months, but sooner or later your period will come even if you keep putting the patch on if you putit off for too long.
You will find that your period is lighter when you are on the pill (or patch or injections).
Yes, if you start the patch late, your period is likely to be later than you expected. Be sure to take a pregnancy test if you had sex without a condom during that two week delay or the week after.
Its actually very normal, along with other symptoms i took the pill and I'm on the patch now and it still happens. and some people actually have there spotting flow like there normal period.
put the patch on the Sunday after you start your period
Of course it's diffrent for everyone. The first time I used the patch my first period on the patch lasted almost 2 weeks, and my doctor said that was nothing to be worried about. But after going off and back on the patch my first period on the patch was nonexistant, which my doctor also said was normal. So it all depends on your body, and how it reacts and how much time it needs to ajust to this bombardment of hormoines.
If this is unusual for you then see your Dr for a pregnancy blood test.
u will most likely to get your period while on the patch which is not good for u.
no because by that time you have already completed most of your ovulation cycle. the patch directions are written so that you wear it for 3 weeks and not the 4th week. the 4th week is so that you have your normal monthly period. if you wanted to continue to wear the patches for the 4th week i dont know if you would have your period or not. i myself have never tried it. I know that if you continue to wear the patch, skipping your off week and just putting a new one on, rather than takng it off it will stop you from having your period that week. But i do not know if wearing it for 3 extra days would do that. Only thing I know is that if you skip your 4th cycle and put a new patch on, your period will last longer. Trust me from experience.
