USP ethanol is a very pure form of un-denatured alcohol used for dissolving medications. If you see something labeled "elixir" this is the solvent.
And seriously, dude, USP ethanol is a ripoff if you're drinking it, because Everclear is pretty much the same stuff at half the price. (The one guy I know who has consumed USP ethanol says it makes the best screwdrivers you'll ever taste. I'll take his word for it. 'Course, he's been in AA for the last 35 years and this stuff put him there...)
Since USP ethanol is just overpriced Everclear, it can be detected in urine or with a breathalyzer. It won't throw "false results"--it will throw true positives because it's the same thing as Everclear.
Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) is a metabolite of alcohol that can be detected in urine tests for an extended period (up to 80 hours) after alcohol consumption. Positive EtG test results indicate recent alcohol consumption, even if no alcohol is currently present in the individual's system. It is important to consider any potential sources of false positives or confounding factors, such as non-alcoholic substances containing ethanol.
Alcohol can be detected in your system from a cotton swab test for two days. A cotton swab test is also known as a saliva test, and results can vary depending on how much alcohol was consumed.
In diabetes there is improper metabolism that results in acetone. Acetone can confuse the Breathalyzer, since it give results as ethanol (alcohol).
The concentration of ethanol in serum is approximately equal to the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) because serum and blood have similar ethanol levels. To convert serum ethanol concentration to BAC, simply use the serum ethanol concentration as the BAC value. For example, if the serum ethanol concentration is 100 mg/dL, then the BAC would also be considered as 100 mg/dL.
Regardless of their outcome, the results of Breathalyzer tests are not recorded on your record, only the offense for which you were taken into custody - alcohol possession. The charge will appear on your juvie record but will not appear on your adult record once you reach 18. .
When yeast undergoes anaerobic respiration, it gives off Carbon dioxide (CO2) and Ethanol. The Ethanol is used in alcohol production, bread making, gasohol etc.
Oxidation of a primary alcohol results in an Aldahyde, 2 molecules of primary alcohol oxidized results in an ether, oxidization of a secondary alcohol end product is a ketone. Ethanol is another word used to describe alcohol and quant would be a shorthand word for quantity. Hcg's formal word is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, and qual is another shorthand term meaning qualitative. Those are test results expressed in terms of the presence or absence of a property or condition. Both of these tests require urine.
Ethylene glycol is more polar than ethanol - a rough measure of polarity is given by the dielectric constant. For example, water is 80, ethylene glycol 37, and ethanol 24.3. Water is the most polar, followed by ethylene glycol and ethanol. Another way to think about it is that ethanol has one alcohol group, and ethylene glycol has two, so it is more polar.

Swallowing chlorine granules will kill you. Do NOT do this!
Some with older cars don't notice a difference when combining ethanol with gasoline. 10% ethanol mixed with gasoline is a safe amount to use for perfect results.
