What is the most effective way to consume Oxycontin?

Most effective would beintravenously. Bad idea. May = Death!!

Transdermal patches ( absorbing through your skin ) are good. It saves your liver. The Duragesic Patch works well.

Unless you need it for extreme chronic pain then you NEVER 'do' oxycontin. It is a very powerful pain killer & was never designed to get high on.

I am assuming that you are considering using this drug for recreational use? If so it is people like yourself that make it extremely difficult for genuine people like myself who really need it for extreme pain. I am in constant chronic pain from a degenerative lumbar spinal condition & I have been through a nightmare of seeing different consultants & GP's to establish that I actually need this drug. Despite being a business owner & doing my absolute best to keep my head up & get on with life I have been made to feel like a 'junky' on many occasions & it is soul destroying.

There is nothing nice about this drug, or its family of drugs. It should only ever be prescribed by a Doctor Who has established that the patient needs it & is in chronic pain.

This is one of the most powerful available pain killers, but it is also easy to develop a tolerance to it (like all opiates). That is when you have a serious problem, you will have a heavy addiction to a very expensive drug & will be paying through the nose just to feel normal, not to mention the process of having to be weaned off the drug.

I am unfortunate to have chronic pain to deal with, sometimes my prescription dose does not reduce my pain enough, I have to take 140mg/day in a slow release tablet form (along with 800mg Pregabalin), I also have to take 3ml (30mg) every 4 hours as needed of Oxynorm, which is a concentrate fluid (10mg/ml Oxycontin), I get 4x120ml bottles (which cost around £140/bottle). So my daily intake of Oxycontin is~380mg, the only felling I get from all that is constipation, dry mouth, feeling weak etc. I am lucky to be in the UK where we get help in paying for our prescriptions, otherwise I would now be paying out over£800/mth just to feel normal!

Do not take this drug unless you absolutely have to an only on recommendation by your doctor!
