The Aryans (Vedic people) overthrew the stone forts of the Dasyu. If you refer to the Indus Valley Civilization people, no one conquered them, they left Sindh because of floods and drought.

The Aryans and Harappans, who interacted during the Vedic period in ancient India, exchanged various cultural and technological knowledge. The Aryans adopted aspects of Harappan urban planning and agricultural practices, which contributed to their societal development. In turn, the Harappans likely absorbed elements of Aryan language, religious practices, and pastoral techniques. This interaction facilitated the blending of cultures that shaped early Indian civilization.

Aryan society, which emerged after the decline of the Harappan civilization, was primarily pastoral and tribal, relying on cattle herding and agriculture, while Harappan society was urban and highly organized, with advanced city planning, drainage systems, and trade networks. The Aryans were also stratified into a caste system based on occupation, contrasting with the more egalitarian structure of the Harappans. Additionally, the Aryans practiced a polytheistic religion centered around rituals and sacrifices, whereas the Harappans had a more enigmatic spiritual life, as evidenced by their seals and figurines.
The nomadic people who conquered the Harappans and much of India were the Indo-Aryans. They are believed to have migrated into the Indian subcontinent around 1500 BCE, bringing with them new languages, cultural practices, and social structures. Their arrival marked the decline of the Harappan civilization and the beginning of the Vedic period in Indian history. The Indo-Aryans established a new societal framework that laid the foundation for later Indian culture and civilization.
