Stephanie G. Kelly, 22, of Girardville, Pennsylvania (living in Manasquan for the summer) talked with Jack Nicholson at around 6PM on the Boardwalk at Manasquan New Jersey on June 30, 2009. While fans stood at a distance snapping pictures of the Star, Stephanie joined him while he stood alone at his picnic table eating ice cream with a spoon. She asked him, "So Jack, what brings you to Manasquan?". He replied, "Whimsy". He asked her if she knew what that meant. She jokingly replied, "I'll go out on a "whim" here and they both laughed. He then asked her if she were to spell it would she put an "H" in it. She said "I don't think so". He said, "Wrong. You must have graduated from Manasquan High School" (which is his alma mater) She said I am actually a second grade teacher but we didn't have to know that one (jokingly). Stephanie asked him if she could have a picture with him. He said, "I would love that". She asked if she could put her arm around him. He replied, "I would love that even more. I would put my arm around you, but I am eating ice cream." Another fan then asked if he could have a picture with him and he said "Zero chance, No chance". After finishing his ice cream, he then left in his waiting limousine.

Ned kelly full name is: Edward Kelly!

Did anyone in Ned Kelly's family influence him to become a bushranger?

Probably not directly. His father, Red Kelly, had done 7 years in gaol in Tasmania before he met Ellen Quinn and married her. The Kelly's were Irish Catholic living in British Colonial north eastern Victoria and times were tough. After Red Kelly's death, Ned's mother resorted to some illegal methods of earning money such as distilling alcohol. The Kelly's were constantly harassed by the police for various crimes around the district, but there does not seem to be a great wealth of reliable evidence to support the charges. (The Kelly Outbreak 1878-1880 by John McQuilton).

What gun did machine gun kelly use?

The Thompson submachine gun.The weapon was chambered for the .45 caliber Colt automatic pistol round. It was developed for the Army as an assault weapon, and was used as such through WW2 and even Vietnam. Unfortunately, it was also enormously popular with gangsters.Ironically, Kelly never killed anyone with his "Tommy Gun." His second wife, Kathryn Thorne is said to have purchased Kelly's first Tommy gun and shamelessly promoted Kelly's reputation as "Machine Gun Kelly." This is not to say he was a pussycat, but he wasn't a killer.Kelly was one of the few gangsters of the prohibition era to actually die in prison, in 1954.

How did Dan Kelly help Ned Kelly?

Dan Kelly was the third member of the gang. Many people considered Dan Kelly as the "thinker" of the family and reguardless of the many times Dan Kelly offered his advice (which would have saved the gang and Ned Kelly many times), Ned Kelly did not take it.
