Czechoslovakia, (which was one nation then), was given to Hitler, without asking the Czechs what they thought of the deal. Afterwards, England's Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain waved a piece a paper around and proclaimed: "Now, we have peace in our time". A year later, Germany invaded Poland, England declared war on Germany, and Winston Churchill replaced Neville Chamberlain as Prime Minister.
