In a choking emergency, one should first assess the situation and ask the person if they are choking. If they are unable to speak or cough, perform the Heimlich maneuver by standing behind them, making a fist with one hand and placing it above their navel, grasping the fist with the other hand and thrusting inward and upward. Repeat until the object is dislodged or emergency help arrives.
To administer treatment for choking in an emergency situation, follow these steps: Assess the situation and determine if the person is choking. Encourage the person to cough to try to dislodge the object. If coughing doesn't work, perform abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver) by standing behind the person, wrapping your arms around their waist, and thrusting inward and upward. Continue abdominal thrusts until the object is dislodged or emergency help arrives. If the person becomes unconscious, perform CPR.
For the old manual hand-pump styles...Open the handle and put your foot in the crotch and hold it to the floor. This will give you leverage to turn the cartridge chamber. At one end there should be a plunger handle that you can grab with two fingers. Notice the hole that the handle goes into. It has a notch. What you need to do is pull the plunger handle as far out as you can and if you succeeded you should be able to cock that plunger handle to the side and it will set in that notch which will alow us to put in a new tube of grease. Now, whle you're still holding the grease gun in your feet, unscrew the cartridge chamber from the oposite end of the plunger handle. Lefty-Loosey and so forth. These can be tough to get apart, but you should be able to do it with your bare hands and maybe a few grease rags.If you got the cartridge chamber off, stick your finger in the open end and grab the lip of the old cartridge. It should slide out easy, but some require a pair of pliers.Take your new tube of grease and pull off the plastic cap at one end. Now, insert it into the cartridge chamber just like the old one was. You should now be looking at a pull tab. Pull it off and reassemble the grease gun.If the cartridge chamber is tight then simply pump the grease gun until you get grease. It may require several pumps.Hope this helps you out. Good Luck and Good Day!
I doubt that would be considered one in any state

If it was a medical emergency, you should immediately phone the Emergency Services and ask for an Ambulance. One example for this would be if you injured yourself and you couldn't walk out of the house. If it is an important emergency for example, you have been burgled or someone has purposefully injured you, you should contact the Emergency Services and ask for Police and (if the injury is bad) ask for an Ambulance. The Emergency Services number is 999. If you dont know where you are, you should tell the Services and they will track you down and find where you are located.
