There is a misconception that marrying a U.S. citizen will automatically confer citizenship to the foreign spouse that however is not the case. The spouse will be given a different priority classification for obtaining permanent residency and/or citizenship, but the required USCIS procedures must be followed to apply for such status and the person must also qualify under the Immigration laws. For example if the person has experienced legal problems such as a criminal felony conviction, marriage will not negate the affect it has on a USCIS decision. Information pertaining to laws governing an illegal foreign national' status can be found on the website of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, http://www.uscis.gov
they can get caught by the cops and sent back to Mexico faster!!! :) The marine corps are part of the military and they have legal benefits in the U.S and are allowed to live in the U.S. An illegal immigrant is someone who is illegally allowed to live in any country or someone who has entered any country without confirmation from proper authorities. There are no benefits to joining the marine corps for a illegal immigrant because in order to join the marine corps you need to register and you need to show them a LEGAL U.S passport that identifies that you are allowed to be in the U.S. Illegal immigrants are illegal in any country because they do not have a passport. So if you were to go over to the marine corps and attempt to register they would realize that you are an illegal immigrant because you do not have a passport and then you would be sent back to whatever country you came from or you would be put in jail or a consequential illegal immigration center for a certain period of time until you are released and sent back to your country.

Technological advancements had left many without jobs, and their certain skill could be done by machine or an immigrant working a machine, and the labor for an immigrant was cheaper, thus they would not need the skillsman any longer, and they went on strike.
Born in the United States with/without parents citizens, become a citizen through taking classes and the citizenship test, serve in the US military.
It is possible for a U.S. citizen to marry an illegal immigrant if the immigrant has valid identification. However, marrying a citizen does not automatically confer permanent resident status or citizenship and is not a guarantee that the person will not face deportation. Such situations are assessed by the USCIS on an individual basis, for more information visit the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services website at http://www.uscis.gov
Marrying a US citizen does not automatically make the other person a citizen. Spouses of US citizens can and do get deported everyday. Send him back home and apply for him while he is not in the U.S.
I don't know where you can marry someone without ID. But, you need to think before marrying an illegal. IF you do marry and IF your spouse is discovered, the penalty is deportation. Are you ready for that? IF you have had children, are you ready for them to lose a parent? Are you willing to chance becoming a single parent? If you truly love this person, the best thing you can do is help them become a citizen or at least a resident alien. Then you can marry without fear and worry. Life is hard enough. Why knowingly create more difficulty for yourself?
No its impossible for them to attain resident status unless trough a blood relative.
If the immigrant is a true illegal (i.e. entered the country illegally/without inspection) even a marriage to a US citizen wont prevent him from facing possible deportation. Moreover, an immigrant CANNOT apply for citizenship, they must first apply for legal residency
Asylum- but only if filed within 1 year of entry into the U.S.- otherwise no.
No. An incarcerated person could not sponsor a foreign national for permanent residency nor citizenship. FYI, marrying a US citizen does not automatically confer permanent resident or citizenship status on a foreign national. Likewise, an illegal immigrant is not eligible for permanent residency regardless of his or her marital status. Unlawfully present individuals are required to voluntarily leave the US and return to their country of origin or face detainment and deportation.
It is no longer possible for a citizen to apply for permanent residency/ citizenship for an immigrant spouse who entered the U.S. illegally. (INA Sect: 212(a)(9)(B) and 8 USC 1182(a)(9)(B). Marrying a U.S. citizen does not automatically confer permanent resident status or citizenship on a foreign national. Therefore, marrying the person would not solve the problem of her being unlawfully present. She would be required to voluntarily return to her country of origin or be deported by authorities. Specific information can be found on the United States Citizenship and Immigration website, http://www.uscis.gov
An illegal immigrant can travel by plane from Miami to Puerto Rico. However, the illegal immigrant will most likely not be able to fly back without a passport from Puerto Rico.
Without any sort of "amnesty" or other government forgiveness of the illegal status, no. Possibly through military service, but otherwise, I can't think of a way without becoming "legal" somehow first.
An illegal immigrant is someone who, without permission, enters a country to live and work.
If you mean, illegal Mexican immigrants, Well, I am not sure, but I read in this website that only in some states. Also those same people wrote about the nightmare they went trough after. See, they thought, that by simple marrying the illegal immigran, he/she (the immigrant) would automatically become legal and get a green card. The reality is different: in order for an illegal immigrant to become legal trough marriage is for the American citizen to apply first for a fiance/ee visa first to bring the fiance/ee from his/her country legally from the beginning. Then when he/she has entered the US with the fiance/ee visa, they can marry the American citizen and get a permanent resident alien card ("green card). That's the right way to do it.AnswerThis is certainly the easiest way to do it. But not the only way. Yes you can marry in the US without a visa, If you are marrying a US citizen and you (the immigrant) entered the US legally, your spouse can sponsor you for LPR (legal permanent resident)and you will not be required to leave the US nor are you subject to any waiting period. AnswerYes, you can get married. I married a Mexican immigrant with no legal status and it did not and still does not matter. We have not figured out how we are going to handle this situation. He works, he has and ITIN to pay taxes, we just need to get his status changed. Eventually, he will have to go back to Mexico and I will have to petition to have him brought back on hardship, since I have very serious health issues, that may, unfortunately, be what helps us get him back her sooner. Good luck to you. And believe me I know what it means when it is said the heart wants what it wants. AnswerThere are not laws that prevent an illegal immigrant from marrying a U.S. citizen, the person only needs to meet the identification requirements of the state in which they wish to marry. Marrying a U.S. citizen will not automatically confer nor guarantee permanent resident status nor citizenship, nor does it mean the person will be subject to deportation. The status of such cases are decided on an individual basis.
