Because on Franch, they had a unstable trench line across the Belgium border, it was weak, and they were stills tuck back in WWI, its because their French. Germans, using the Luftwaffe, used Blitzkreig, which meant, the aircraft punched a hole in the line, and the tanks went strait through it, which was horrible for the French. Now, with Britain, Hitler made a mistake. Hitler, had his Luftwaffe go in and attempt to bomb the Royal Air Force, and destroy them. But, in teh middle of night, Britain sent out bombers to bomb Berlin, it didnt do much damage, but it made Hitler furious. Because of this, he sent the Luftwaffe towards London to bomb them. Even though it was hurt pretty bad, the R.A.F. built up, and got more pilots, planes, the whole bit. Then they attacked,a dn that sent the Germans into a bad position on the Western Front. The RAF lost 800 men or planes, and the Luftwaffe took a big hit and lost around 1500 planes. This hurt them because the Luftwaffe was split apart in Europe, which they then didnt have a good front of aircraft across teh English Channel.
