Answer The British came in with Hesians, aka Germans.Half of the British forces in the USA were German. The Brits even had the Indians on their side.Hence, they weren't fighting fair. The Brits had a shortage of troops,so they had to hire Germans, aka Hesians.Pretty much, the blackwater mercanaries of the 1700s.

No sane Brit will ever admit this because they want you to belive it was all British. However, the history books beg to differ. Sure, the French helped us.The Brits weren't fighting fair.It wasn't all Red Coats that invaded the USA.

However, the war of 1812 was the USA vs UK.Hence, the Brits still used the Indians to their advantage. The war was an American victory because the UK finally accepted the USA as a bona fide country. The Brits also let the USA trade around the World and didn't enlist the US Military in the British ranks, against the will of the USA.
