How do you think the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict has impacted the world?

I think that it have caused a rift between religon since Israel is mostly Judaism and Palestine is mostly Islamic, thus these two religions have been fighting over the holy lands for centuries. During the Crusades, Christians and Muslims fought over the holy lands and the Jewish people just watched. Now that the Jewish nation has a home in Israel and part of it was taken from Palenstine after WWII that would probably tick me off. Thus, the violence between all majors religions has caused resentment and prejudice which is the main leading cause of most terrorist attacks on all countries.

The Arab-Israeli conflict could affect the whole world as it could ignite a nuclear war that could possibly be considered World War III. Israel and Iran are on the brink of nuclear war. Many other Arab countries are disliking towards Israel as Israel occupies Palestine, which is considered holy land to the Muslims as well as to the Jews and Christians. The US and other Western countries (like the UK or France) are major allies of Israel and would most likely support them if nuclear war were to erupt. They would join not only for the involvement of Israel, but because of their disliking towards Iran. They do not trust Iran as Iran's president has expressed his hatred towards not only Israel but the Western World as a whole (mainly the US) and threatened to nuke them. That is why these countries are so harsh towards Iran as they not only impose sanctions against the country, but also use UN involvement to prevent Iran to succeeding in creating a nuclear weapon, which Iran argues they are only using nuclear research for power and not for weapons of mass destruction.
