if you are looking at the ancients, there can be no argument against Rome as being the most influencing culture on the world. South, North America, Australia, Europe, N. Africa, Middle East all owe language, religion, architecture, genes, food to the Romans.

Much of the ideas of the Egyptians influenced those of the Romans. The Egyptians invented black ink, the wheel, an ox-drawn plow, and discovered many things to do with maths, astronomy, anatomy, medicine etc.
