It hasn't much- it's design dates back to 1603, when Scottish King James 1st inherited the English throne following the death of Elizabeth 1st. He became King of England, Scotland and Ireland, which were united under him in a personal Union but remaining seperate states. He thus commissioned the new flag as a combination of the English cross of St. George, the St. Andrew's flag (or 'saltire') of Scotland, and the St. Patrick's cross of Ireland. This was the first British flag.
BUT, Wales was not included because it had been officially been proclaimed part of England under Henry VIII's Act of Union in 1536, so was not held to be a seperate state and thus unworthy of a flag of it's own. It was only legally disestablished from England shortly before the First World War, and the Welsh flag remains absent from the Union Jack to this day.

The stars on the American flag represent the number of states in the Union. For that reason, the appearance of the American flag has changed many times over the years. The original flag, known as "Old Glory," displayed 13 stars to represent the original 13 states when the nation declared its independence from Great Britain in 1776. Today's flag has 50 stars because there are now 50 states. The last two stars were added in 1959, when Alaska and Hawaii joined the Union, bringing the number of states -- and the number of stars on the flag -- from 48 to the present 50. The flag has not changed since then. The stripes represent the 13 original colonies.

Georgia's state flag was changed in 1956 to incorporate the Confederate Battle Flag as a response to the Civil Rights Movement and the desegregation efforts that were gaining momentum at the time. The decision reflected a desire among some state leaders to assert a sense of Southern identity and heritage in opposition to federal mandates for integration. This change was controversial and sparked debates about racism and the legacy of the Confederacy, leading to further modifications of the flag in subsequent years.
Possibly Great Britains
Great Britain does not have a flag (since Great Britain is the name of an island, not a country). However, the country that occupies that island, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, does have a flag. The British Flag's proper name is the Union Flag but some people call it the Union Jack.
the symbol on the flag has changed in the years, but the flags colors are represented the same as they were when the flag was originated!
