The Spanish culture, that is found in America is the Tex-Mex cuisine. Tex-Mex, is simply a short word for Mexican-American culture. For this is, cuisine and culture that you'll find in Texas, but not the actual interior of Mexico. This dates way back, to when Spain owned Texas and Mexico, and then Mexico declared independance from Spain. Then Texas declared independance from Mexico, all before becoming an American state. A lot of the common foods, seen as Mexican by the American public are all Tex-Mex food. Such foods include beef fajitas on flour tortillas. Flour tortillas itself, isn't found in Mexico. Mexicans, don't use flour tortillas they use corn tortillas. Also, beef tacos is Tex-Mex, real Mexican tacos are made with chicken and corn tortillas as opposed to the ground beef and flour tortilla tacos. Chili corn carne, is another typical Tex-Mex dish. Burritos and nachos, are also Tex-Mex foods.
Also, pinatas are part of every birthday part celebrations in America. Pinatas, originated from Mexico. They are so popular in America that half of the people who do pinatas on parties, don't even know the origin which is Mexico. Half of the people who do pinatas are non-Mexicans and non-Hispanic. Even Chinese, Koreans and other non-Mexican and non-Hispanic ethnicities do pinatas. Soccer, is a very popular extracurricular. Soccer, is one of the most common activities kids love to do. Not just in Spain or Mexico, but in America as well. America, is actually the only country to call it "soccer". Everyone else calls it "football", or "futbol" in case of Spanish.
