After the German victory and the annexation of Poland into the Reich in November 1939 Hitler wanted to immediately invade Western Europe. After many heated debates Hitler was convinced by his Generals to wait until the Spring of 1940.

This gave ample time for te movement of German troops from Poland to the West and by attacking in spring the ground would not be frozen so troops could dig in of needs be

This meant that on May 10th 1940 the Germans invaded France by a superb sneak attack through the Ardennes. This brilliant manoeuvre is one of the best military strategies of all time, and caused the total collapse of France in just under 6 weeks

How did Hitler cause war during World Wars 1 and 2?

Hitler started WWII by invading Poland. He did this after he told England and France that he did not want to gain anymore land after he took Czech. I'm not sure but i think he even signed a document stating that he would not invade anymore countries but don't use that as proof. anyway England and France finally officially declared war on Germany after the invasion of Poland and England even sent ships to pick up some of the Polish troops still in Poland when Hitler had Poland pretty much conquered.
