Once you have the job you wnat you will proceed to MEPS ( Military Entrance Processing Station) where you will go through a medical exam to make sure you can handle the stresses of Basic Training. After you finish MEPS you will get a date you need to return back there for Basic training. Take advantage of your recruiter, they have been through the process countless times. But what ever you do do not let them talk you into taking a job you do not want.
