Total of 6 main allied generals 5 American and 1 British under the command of American General Eisenhower. Total of 5 main German generals under the command of Adolf Hitler. There were other generals as well, but these were directly involved in the direction of the battle, the others served under the command of the main generals.
Many historians believe that this is exactly what would have happened. Most believe that Hitler was, among other things, paranoid and an obvious control freak. If he had trusted his advisers/generals more, the Nazis would most likely be the major power in Europe today.

I am sure a lot of people have made projects on Hitler, there are many books and films about him.
Of many possible ways to approach this answer, one good one is this: Germany lost because Hitler refused to listen to his generals. At several critical times during the war, he got excellent advice from his generals that he disregarded out of hand, because he felt they were wrong. Listening to and following the advice of those generals at the time, could have made the course of the war in Europe much different. That is one reason Germany lost World War II. There are many others.
