Yes, in the hours and days following the complete destruction of Berlin by Soviet forces in April and May 1945, a body was found that was believed to be that of Adolf Hitler. It was near the Fuhrerbunker, and had been shot in the head (which matched reports given by captured headquarters staff). However, upon further investigation, it was conclusively proven that this was not Hitler (whose body, by the way, along with that of Eva Braun, Hitler's German Shepherd "Blondie", Joseph Goebbels, Magda Goebbels, and their five poisoned children, was found in a rotting carboard box in a Soviet archive in the early 1990s). You can often see the photo of the body double in books and on the internet; it's not that hard to find.
