Well if your talking about Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X then some of the things that they have in common would be:

-Both Ministers

-Both believe in equal rights and freedom from any color of your skin

-Both were shot and killed

-Both changed their names to something different

-Both met each other for the only time in both of their lives on March 26th, 1964

Both X and King spread their message through powerful,

hard-hitting speeches. Nevertheless, their intentions were

delivered in different styles and for different purposes.

Many have admired Malcolm X and Martin Luther King

for the way that they preached. "Both King and Malcolm X

promoted self-knowledge and respect for one's history and

culture as the basis for unity."

Malcolm X and Martin Luther King are both remembered as

leaders who fought for a difference in black America. Both

tried to bring hope to blacks in the United States. They

also tried to instil within blacks power and strength so

they could rise above all the hatred that surrounded them,

but both of them had very different ways of promoting their

message. Martin Luther King was a man of peace and hope.

Malcolm X was a ma of violence and less reason.

While they both wanted the freedom for their people, each had they own perspectives and ideological beliefs behind their motives. Martin Luther King wanted integration of the black and white society through peaceful speeches and asking the African-american society to forgive and to work for a better future alongside the whites. Whilst Malcolm X on the other hand, sought freedom for his people through "any means necessary". He also, on a different note, wanted complete segregation.
