Macro Polo was born on September 15 1254 growing up in Italy, he became an explorer of the world. Polo did most of his exploring in Central Asia and China. While on a 24 year exploration, Polo returned to Venice to find his country was at war. Polo would have to tell his explorations to prisoners before being released in 1299. After being imprisoned, Marco Polo became a wealthy merchant, married with three kids. Marco Polo died in 1324, buried at the San Lorenzo church.
