James Earl Ray murdered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., because he hated black people, and he might have thought that some rich white supremacists would pay him money to kill Dr. King. The only thing Ray got for the murder of Dr. King was life imprisonment without parole, and the hated of people around the world for the murder of a beloved man who spoke about nonviolence as a solution to the world's problems.

In my opinion, Martin Luther King Jr, as he encouraged Black people to do better for themselves and their communities,he also helped to try and tear down the divisions between Black and Whites. Whereas John Paul kept mass amounts of people stuck within their religion, which encourages Homophobia and has done nothing to bridge the gap between religious and non-religious peoples or rich and poor.
They are rich and they dress like they should and that is richly.

African Americans were already free and had been when Martin Luther King made his political debut. He wanted equality for all people. Men, women, black, white, poor and rich. He wanted black people to have the same rights: vote, go into restaurants of their choosing, share water fountains and public restrooms, stay in hotels, go to local schools, buy homes of their choice in the neighborhood of their choice, be able to be treated at any hospital and so on. In his time, there were many, many places where this was not possible.
