Feudalism is the structure of the government and part of the society. It is not a separate thing so in asking this question you are asking about a system that the knights were part of and created. Knights were nobles and a different class of people and were created because of feudalism.

TRUE! Feudalism is a series of complicated lord-and-vassal relationships between nobles, but the living conditions of serfs under the feudal system are hugely important to Western history. The overall squalor of the lives of the serfs (lower classes) contributed to the rapid spread of diseases like the black plague, the eventual re-emergence of major population centers, and the prevalence and importance of the Catholic church.
all the people knew their roles in a rigid class system
feudalism meant the enslavement of the agrarian workforce for the enrichment of the privileged. Each class had duties and rights.
as Mohandas Ganghi concerned about his lower classes
William was the first monarch to have complete control of England. He installed feudalism which wasn't easy. For he had invaded England and was not seen as the rightful heir to everyone. He installed feudalism using Normans as the immediate upper class and Anglo-Saxons as the lower class. However, there was around 25,000 Normans and 2,000,000 Anglo-Saxons. The ratio definitely goes to the lower class, which was frightening to William. So this is when he constructed castles, to protect the upper class from the lower class. William also created the Doomsday book, which is basically a record of all things in England. This book would work into his taxation methods and turned out to be a very important historical reference.
The limits of Feudalism is that it bound people to a certain class depending on who they were. This meant that there was never a chance that a peasant could become a knight or a king. They would always be locked into their social class.
