How did the Nazi the party form and evolve?

The Nazi party was formed in 1918 and grew out of smaller political groups which formed in the final years of World War 1, all with a nationalist orientation. The party was intially called the German Workers' Party (DAP), but changed its name to the National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (Nazi) in 1920. Anton Drexler formed a branch of the Free Committee for a German Workers' Peace on 7 March 1918 and on 5 January 1919 a new political party, which became the Nazi party, was formed out of this branch. This political party was based on ideas of opposing the Treaty of Versailles, being anti-Semitic and viewing Germans as part of the Aryan or master race of the world. Initially the DAP was a very small party with fewer than 60 members. Nevertheless, it still attracted attention of German authorities and a young corporal, Adolf Hitler, was sent to investigate the DAP. Hitler then got involved in a heated argument while attending one of DAP's public events and made an impression on the DAP members because of his oratory skills. Hitler was then invited to join DAP by Drexler and he became the party's 55th member. Hitler then started to do a lot of propoganda work for the party and eventually became its main speaker. He became the chairman of the party on 28 July 1921. During 1921 and 1922 the Nazi party grew significantly and after Hitler was released from prison in December 1924, afther the beerhall putsch, the Nazi party became less of a paramilitary organisation and eventually rose to power in 1933 with Hitler becoming the Chancellor of Germany in 1933. The Nazi party was the ruling party in Germany from 1933 to 1945.

Did Germany have Nazi?

After WW1, we saw that Germany as a whole had to lose countries to others, and in doing so, made Germany a smaller and less liveable place in the world, ending up in more and more decrese in national profits, yet adding to the 'great depression' as we know it today. Hitler was bold in telling them that he would invade these countries once again, and regain the land that was once theirs. In 1938, Austria was invaded by the National Socialist German Workers Party of NAZI Party which was now Hitler's main army consisting of over 3 million people, another broken promise from the German people, breaking the Treaty of Versailles yet again. In a nutshell as such, summing up the NAZI party is quite simple. The Nazi Party was a fascist party, led by Adolf Hitler, which was the main party in Germany from 1933 to 1945. The party is also known as the Third Reich. It triggered the start of WWII when it invaded Poland. Germany's main powers during WW2 were the NAZI Party.
