This is the second answer-I can't stand people just writing "asdjfkharh;sdsdsd." The Aztecs came from Asia, crossing the Bering Strait and settling eventually in Latin America, after some wandering around as they were defeated, being weak. They greatly respected some other strong tribes and adopted the feathered-serpent god as their own. Eventually they were exiled to an island called Tenochtitlan, where they settled because of an old legend. They expanded the island by making floating islands, called chinampas, which are still used today. The Aztecs conquered lands around them and became very strong and respected/feared. It's lucky I'm having a unit on this :). (Probably I didn't have to say all that but the basic answer is this-Asia.)
