The all-red Fokker Dr.1 triplane, serial number 425/17, in which Germany's top ace was shot down in WW1. 13. U-2 spy plane piloted by Gary Powers, that was shot down by the Russians in 1960 and caused an embarrasment for the US CIA. 14. Navy B-24 Liberator configured as a secret flying bomb, exploded in air during WW2 and killing Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., the brother to the future President. 15. Piper Saratoga II HP piloted by John F. Kennedy, Jr. that crashed near Marthar's Vineyard(the son of that same President). 16. A common Beech Bonanza that crashed near Mason City, Iowa in February 1959, killing Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.T. Richardson, aka "the Big Bopper". That was the day that something touched me deep inside--the day the music died.
