The Women's March on Versailles was based on the need for bread and lower and fairer taxation. They did make a demand that the King and Queen should rule from Paris where they would be able to view the needs of the people at first hand. The Monarchy acceeded to their wishes. Later they demanded the lives of Louis XVI and the Queen. They got what they wanted.
It should be pointed out however that the Queen of France had no actual power within France. It was not allowed under the rules of the Ancient Regime for a woman to have any regulatory power. They were present only to provide a male heir to the throne.
