it did not work well because there was no central government or authority.
The Articles of Confederation did NOT provide the United States with an effective government. It lacked many powers that we now have. For example the government in the 1780's couldn't impose taxes, it was unicameral, and it could not declare war. If it would have been effective we would still be under the power of the articles instead of the constitution.
Well that was one of the main reason the articles were scrapped, the government didn't have the right to institute taxes! Basically the states decided weather they paid taxes or not.
Well they articles of confederation gave them to decide jail and stuff and your mama is UGLY
Well it is true
well the Articles of Confederation lasted from 1781 to1789
Well, the Congress of the Confederation was a legislative branch under the Articles of Confederation. So the Constitutional Convention would've still come turned out the way it regularly turned out to be. The states would still have the same powers because the government was under the Articles of Confederation was a weak government anyways.

Well the Articles of Confederation was the original constitution so it would probably be 1777.

The first type of government in the US was formed in 1775. This is the US Merchant Marine, or the Maritime Administration. They were the ones who had the task of making sure the military groups had supplies to fight the war, and make sure cargo was safely getting across the ocean. Following the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the delegates to the Continental Congress formed a committee to devise a system of government for the newly independent colonies, now states. In 1777 the committee presented a plan called the Articles of Confederation, which set up a national government similar to the structure and operation of government as established under the Second Continental Congress. The Articles were ratified by all the states by March, 1781, and became our first system of government.

Well you can draw similarities with the articles of confederation with what it lacked and how putin managed the Russian country. The articles give limited power to the state which is a problem if its weak, which in russia is how it was then putin came to power and made the government stronger and more powerful.
Yes, because you could actually use your rights under the articles of confederation but with bristish rule you couldnt. Like as in freedom of speech you may use it in the Usa but you couldnt under bristish rule, well at least not all the time
Before the Constitution was established in 1787, the United States operated under the Articles of Confederation, which were in effect from 1781 to 1789. The Articles of Confederation created a loose confederation of sovereign states with a weak central government. Under this system, the federal government lacked the power to tax, regulate trade, or enforce laws effectively, leading to various issues and challenges. The limitations of the Articles of Confederation ultimately led to the Constitutional Convention and the drafting of the U.S. Constitution.
