Most popular were Ford, Chevy, and Plymouth for the average family. Considering that there were no vehicles mfg. from 1942-45, most vehicles driven were produced during the 20's and 30's.

Hudson, Studebaker, and Nash were also popular as entry level vehicles.

Mid-priced vehicles of the time were Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, (Oakland), Dodge. and Desoto, and of course luxury included Cadillac, Lincoln, Chrysler, and Packard.
