Burning religious men (Monks), burning villages, burning people...just part of the normal (at the time) anti-war movement during the Vietnam War...nothing more, nothing less.

NOTE: The so called "napalm girl" was a victim of a SOUTH VIET AIR FORCE air strike, possibly by an A-1 Skyraider; a propeller driven WWII "designed" dive bomber flown extensively during the Viet War by the USAF, USN, and RVN (Republic of South Vietnam). In fact South Viet President Nguyen Ky flew one! (Before he became president).

The airplane's most common nicknames and call signs during the war were: Sandy & Spad. The aircraft NEVER fought in WWII having arrived in service too late to action; its first war was in Korea & its second and last war was Vietnam. Nearly all of the last of the US inventory of A-1s went to the South Viet Air Force.
