Committees of Correspondence
The Thirteen Colonies were British colonies in North America that were divided into New England,Middle colonies, and Southern colonies.....
Yo daddy
The primary leaders in the New England colonies were John Winthrop in Massachusetts, Roger Williams and Ann Hutchinson in Rhode Island, John Mason in New Hampshire, and Thomas Hooker in Connectivut.
Tension arose between England and the colonies when the colonies wanted to have self rule. The natural citizens wanted to have their own leaders and their own laws.
The ruling Gentry of Britain looked down upon the colonial leaders due to perceived social and cultural superiority, viewing the colonies as less refined and their leaders as unsophisticated. They believed that colonial leaders lacked the education, lineage, and aristocratic values that characterized British elites. Additionally, the Gentry often saw the colonies as economically dependent and considered their leaders' attempts at self-governance as presumptuous and indicative of a lack of respect for British authority. This disdain was compounded by the growing tensions and aspirations for independence among the colonies.
Gotta love Eastshore! It's "commitees of correspondence"
The Committees of Correspondence were formed for the purpose of keeping the colonies informed. They were created by the Patriot leaders.
The doctrine of no surprises refers to the principle that government officials should inform their superiors of any developments or decisions that may catch them off guard. This ensures that leaders are kept informed and can make well-informed decisions. It promotes transparency and accountability within the government.
There were never 13 colonies of Australia.
