Condoleezza Rice graduated at age 16, from St. Mary's Academy, and all-girls Catholic school in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. She then studied music at Aspen Music Festival and School before enrolling at the University of Denver, where her father was the Dean. She earned a B.A., cum laude, in political science from the University of Denver. She obtained a master's degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, before working in the State Department during the Carter administration. She was provost at Stanford and on the board of directors at several major corporations before becoming National Security Advisor.
