What is Hamilton's economic plan?

One of the great problems of the Articles of the Confederation was the government's financial problem. Alexander Hamilton, who was the secretary of the treasury, had a new plan to fix US finances.

1) Pay of the national war debt, and have the government assume states individual debt.

2) impose high tariffs on imported goods (to protect the nations industries).

3) Create a national bank. Congress did adopt Hamilton's plan, they just made some adjustments.

Alexander Hamilton's economic plan was to start a national bank and a national mint to keep our money safe. He had many plans for the United States but this and his finantial plans are the most remebered. <3
