Many people believe that the famous landmark which marks the northernmost border of the Roman Empire was Hadrian's wall. This is because big part of this wall still exists. However, there was also a wall which was built further north, in what is not the central belt of Scotland, between the Firth of Forth and the Firth of Clyde. It is called the Antonine Wall. Most of it has been destroyed and are only only fewremains.
