King Tut wasn't a major pharaoh when he lived. He is mostly known for having the most intact tumb ever found. He was just a major find for archeologists.

Akhenaten was a famous Egyptian Pharaoh. His parents were Amenhotep the third and Tiye. He ruled during the eighteenth dynasty of the Amarna period of ancient Egyptian history. One of his major roles in antiquity was his attempt to change the national religion of ancient Egypt, as this was a period in history where the king told you what to believe. Probably his most notable place in Egyptian history is being the suspected father of the famous King Tut.
