The communist Bolsheviks took over during the November Revolution.
The American Revolution was considered both conservative and radical. The results of the revolution were radical while the movement itself was conservative. Wealthy individuals used their personal fortunes to finance the Continental army at great risk to themselves which was radical at the time. The government that was created was conservative.
The Tsar was very bad and thought that he was appointed by God. The Russian revolution was a cruel, bloody takeover of the Russian empire by radical socialists known as "Bolsheviks" led by Vladimir Lenin who then went on to establish the Soviet Union which claimed to be for the people but was in fact quite the opposite.
Well the first one started in 1905. The 1905 revolution lasted only a few days before Tsar Nicholas II gave in to certain demands made by the people. After that there was no further revolutionary activity. The next one was the February Revolution of 1917, which lasted a few weeks until Tsar Nicholas II abdicated in early March 1917. After that, there was no revolutionary activity aside from constant political agitation by Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks and other radical revolutionary groups. The Provisional Government tried to maintain control, but it was too conservative to stay in power very long. The third one, the October Revolution, lasted several days until the Bolsheviks took control of transportation and communication services as well as government offices in Petrograd. It took longer to seize control of the government in Moscow. In any event it did not last very long. The Russian Civil War broke out shortly after that in 1918 and lasted until 1920, but that is not considered "the Russian Revolution" per se.
Bolsheviks
At the time of the initial Russian Revolution in March 1917, called the February Revolution, the chief complaints against the rule of the Tsars had been the country's involvement in World War 1, the inequitable system of land ownership and shortages of food in the cities. Using the simple promise of "Peace, land and bread" Lenin promised an end to all the ills that provoked the February Revolution. The Provisional Government that took control of the country after that revolution continued the unpopular war, was not inclined to institute radical land reform and was as unable as the Tsarist government to end shortages of food in the cities. Lenin's promises made government by the Bolsheviks more appealing to the soldiers, peasants and workers than government by the existing Provisional Government.
The Bolshevik Party was the radical communist group that took over Russia in the October Russian Revolution. In 1918, the Bolshevik Party changed its name to the Communist Party.

something happened and it made Russia's economy bad In early 1917, the Russian population was unhappy with the monarchy that had ruled Russia for centuries. A series of strikes and riots led to a revolution. A "Provisional Government" was instated to rule of the nation until a new on could be formed. In October 1917, the Bolsheviks (A radical left wing party led by Vladimir Lenin) overthrew the Provisional Government and instated a socialist government. One of their first actions was to pull out of WW1.
The "First New Deal" was most radical because a lot of the policies gave government too much control and were named unconstitutional.
