Catholicism and Protestantism; it was the attempt by Guy Fawkes to detonate a bomb under the English Parliament Building, killing the Protestant King of England in the process. Afterwards, he and his co-conspirators intended to put a Catholic relative of the King on the throne.
guy Fawkes was caught, about to light the gunpowder. he was tortured for about two days until he told who else was involved with the plot. (sorry, i can't remember their names) they found, i think, all the plotters. four were killed trying to resist arrest and four more were hung, drawn and quartered. hope this helps!

At the time of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, the king of England was King James I. He ascended to the throne in 1603 following the death of Queen Elizabeth I. James I was the first monarch of both England and Scotland, uniting the crowns of the two kingdoms. His reign was marked by political and religious tensions, which ultimately led to the plot to assassinate him.

Guy Fawkes was a man born on 13th April 1570 in York who died in January 1606. He was the most famous plotter of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, a plan to blow up King James I of England. He was caught attempting to light a fuse underneath the House of Lords and then tortured for information. On 31st January, 1606, he and his co-conspirators were due to be executed, on which day Guy Fawkes commited suicide. Bonfire Night (November 5th) was a public holiday until the late 1800s. One popular tradition is burning effigies or 'guys' on a - surprise, surprise - bonfire. The word 'guy' first entered the English language with this meaning, but then went on to mean any male person. And all because of Guy.

I am sorry but we can't answer because we don't know what they were involved with.
Methodists and Baptists
Christians. Catholics and Protestants.
The two rival religions involved in the Crusades were Christianity and Islam. Christians from Europe launched military campaigns (Crusades) to reclaim holy sites in the Middle East from Muslim control.
Two years prior was The Main Plot, and in 1604 was The Bye Plot. All of these plots pitted the Catholics against the Protestants.Apart from plots, the defeat of the Spanish Armada happened when Shakespeare was 24. That was sort of Catholic against Protestant too.
IT is in one right now bitween the two religions sunni and shiite
There were three major candidates to succeed Queen Elizabeth, and two of them favored greater religious tolerance toward Catholics (Who had to practice in secret at the time because of England's anti-catholic laws.) James I was the one who did not favor religious tolerance, and was the one to secure the throne after Queen Elizabeth passed away. The Gunpowder plot was an attempt to assassinate James I by blowing up the House of Lords. The plot was discovered ant thwarted, and as a result even more oppressive anti-catholic laws were created.
Gunpowder is typically considered to be one word.
